Shipping & Returns

DhamaSmart.com lists merchandise from many Manufacturers. Think of us like a shopping mall where you can find many smaller shops all grouped together, but with one huge advantage: you can just drop into your shopping cart any item from any Manufacturer and keep on shopping till you have browsed through all the products. Only then do you need to go to the checkout where we can do one single transaction.

Your checkout procedure will combine all products on the one invoice, grouping them by Manufacturer.

Since your goods can come from multiple Manufacturers, it must be remembered that delivery will be made separately from each Manufacturer. So,if your purchase includes items from more than one Manufacturer, you will receive more than one shipment and each Manufacturer will charge shipping. All charges will be shown on your invoice during checkout for you to approve prior to entering any credit card information.

If a Manufacturer offers a choice of shipping methods, you will be able to choose your preferred method during checkout. The following manufacturers: DharmaSmart, Good Karma Jewelry, Ayurda Ayurvedic Skincare and Ayur-Medic Skincare offer FREE shipping insurance for deliveries within USA on any order of their goods over $25.00. If you do not receive the goods you order, a claim must FIRST be filed with the shipping company involved and all details forwarded to us. Goods supplied by other Manufacturers will have the normal terms offered by the chosen shipping method.

Please note that the areas our manufacturers can ship to varies. All manufacturers ship to the continental USA. Most manufacturers also ship to Hawaii and Alaska although the cost can increase unless it is possible to ship your order via USPS. Manufacturers who offer shipment by USPS also offer shipment to Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands. We are encouraging our manufacturers to offer shipping to other international destinations. A list of available destinations in addition to Continental USA can be found within the description area for any products where it is available.

Recycled packaging will be used for your delivery when available.

Sales Tax is only collected from residents of USA, and only if we deliver your goods to the following states: California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Arkansas.

Customers outside the USA should be aware that Customs Duties and other Fees or Restrictions may apply to goods shipped to you. Prices listed on DharmaSmart do NOT include such Duties or Fees, and due to the huge variations in laws between countries, it is the Customer’s responsibility to meet any of those obligations. We cannot offer a refund for goods withheld or delayed by your local laws.

Priority Shipping: Charges for priority Shipping include expedited processing through DharmaSmart’s warehouse where we ship the goods. Please note we have no control over processing times for goods shipped directly from supplier’s warehouses.

Returns:

  • No Returns will be accepted without prior written approval from us.
  • Please contact us by replying to the original receipt that was emailed to you, or contact us and give us complete details of your Name, Order ID and the reason you wish to return the item.
  • Please do NOT return the item directly to us unless requested to do so.
  • DharmaSmart products come from multiple manufacturers, and if we require the product be returned, we will supply the address to send it to. Your credit or replacement cannot be processed until the item reaches the manufacturer and we will need to add a further charge for us to redirect incorrectly delivered returns.
  • If you receive a delivery that may have been damaged by the carrier, do not throw away the item OR THE PACKAGING as you and us need the evidence to file a claim with the carrier. The packaging needs to be held for at least 30 days after a claim is filed.
  • All DharmaSmart items are guaranteed for twelve months from purchase date unless some other guarantee is noted in the description of the item.
  • Some of our Manufacturers (*see list below) also accept return of items for any reason, providing you advise us within 10 days of receipt. Goods must be received back by us in “AS NEW” condition and food products, software and cosmetics need to be unopened/seal not broken. Shipping charges are non-refundable for non-faulty items.
  • You are responsible for shipping costs to return goods unless we determine they are faulty. We will refund the cost of return shipping on items that we (at our sole discretion) agree are faulty, provided you have been given a written return authorization by us, and provided items are shipped by the method we specify. We cannot reimburse shipping costs for non-authorized returns. International shipping costs are not refundable under any circumstances.
